Robin Barnes

For more than nineteen years, Robin has helped charitable organizations grow their revenue sources and forge lasting relationships with funders and program beneficiaries.

Natively from the Philadelphia region, she holds a B.S. in Marketing from the Rutgers University School of Business, a Masters Certificate in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at IE University in Madrid.

Prior to joining Patient Empowerment Network, Robin led marketing and fundraising departments for the Philadelphia Theatre Company, Fringe Festival, and Academy of Vocal Arts before joining the Philadelphia Museum of Art as a Major Gifts Officer. 

After her husband’s recovery from brain cancer in 2016, they fulfilled a dream of moving overseas where they’ve focused their volunteer efforts on improving education opportunities in developing countries. They’ve since lived in Vietnam, Turkey, and Serbia, and are now based in Morocco.
