Imerman Angels
Patient Empowerment Network (PEN) is enthused to partner with Imerman Angels to empower the cancer community through peer-to-peer support. Imerman Angels’ mission is to provide support to cancer fighters, survivors, previvors, and caregivers through one-on-one cancer support. Through a unique matching process, they connect Support Seekers with a custom-selected Mentor Angel whose life experience and cancer story is much the same as theirs. Their mission pairs well with PEN’s mission to provide cancer patients and their care partners with education to boost their confidence and validate emotional feelings around their experiences.
- Request a Mentor Angel: allow the Cancer Support Specialists at Imerman Angels to find you a Mentor Angel who knows what you are going through
- Become a Mentor Angel: volunteer with Imerman Angels to share your experience and compassion with someone who is struggling with their own cancer journey.
Imerman Angels’ offerings are complimentary to PEN’s Empowerment Lead program where highly passionate empowerment ambassadors represent the eyes and ears around their specific network and develop specific messages, seek out resources, and contribute to amplifying the needs of specific health communities via guidance of an established editorial calendar. Together, with the support of Imerman Angels and education of PEN, our organizations will work together to effectively empower individuals impacted by cancer.
