My biggest motivation in this world are my siblings, as they mean the entire world to me. The driving force behind my love for helping others is my little brother Jayden. Jayden is 11 years old, and when he was around 2 years old he was diagnosed with Autism. Throughout the years, other diagnoses have been pegged on (a muscle disorder, seizures, and another developmental disorder), and with each one I have grown increasingly curious. Growing up, I would always go to his doctors appointments with my mother and I would always have a list of questions ready to ask the doctor and I would always do tons of research on his disorders. These experiences growing up are part of the reason why I am pursuing work in the medical field either as a hospital physician or a clinical psychologist.
In 2017, I volunteered with the Digital Sherpa Program and I had a lot of fun work with the climbers. This year, I look forward to working with everyone during my time as an intern with the program!
