Ashley Owen Santangelo is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York City and has been an avid writer since the age of 7. Ashley majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing during her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz. During her time at SUNY New Paltz, Ashley had several personal experiences with mental health which drove her desire to pursue social work in her graduate studies.
After graduating from Hunter College School of Social Work in New York City in 2012, Ashley has worked in various clinical capacities at well known institutions such as the Mental Health Association of New York City and New York University. Ashley is happy to contribute her expertise on the mental health field and emotional wellness to Jen Reviews.
