Clinical Trial Mythbusters
Clinical Trial Mythbusters is a program run by patients for cancer patients, families and caregivers. The program is a live online series that gives attendees the chance to actively participate in the discussion, ask questions, and listen to answers from the panel of experts. The panel will include physicians, patient advocates, and patients, and will be patient-centric in nature. Attendees will have a chance to continue the discussion after the initial panel discussion ends, allowing for a more focused and intimate discussion. All videos of the initial panel discussion and questions will be recorded and posted here.
Panel discussions will focus on topics such as:
- Basic understanding of trials
- Debunking common myths
- Safe, reliable sources of information about trials
- What’s involved in trial participation and what’s it like to be in a trial
- Finding the trial that’s right for you
