Gynecological Cancers

Gynecologic cancers are any cancer that begins in a woman’s reproductive tract. Treatments for gynecologic cancers depend on what stage of disease is present and may include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy:

There are several types:

  •       Ovarian Cancer
  •       Cervical Cancer
  •       Endometrial Cancer
  •       Uterine Sarcoma
  •       Vulvar Cancer
  •       Vaginal Cancer

Each type of gynecological cancer is unique, presenting different symptoms, some of which may be difficult to recognize. Treatment is especially effective for gynecological cancers when caught early.
