Tracy Steffek

Tracy Steffek is the Founder and Principal of Remedy & Root, LLC, a consulting firm focused on systems integration and community health innovation. With nearly two decades of executive and senior leadership experience across national nonprofits, state and county government, and cross-sector coalitions, she supports organizations in designing and operationalizing whole-person care models that bridge medical, social, and community-based systems. Tracy holds a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Tech, with a concentration in Local Government Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a Child, Youth, and Family Services concentration from The Pennsylvania State University. She brings deep expertise in partnership development, program strategy, and systems alignment, helping organizations translate mission into impact by aligning partners, policy, and practice to advance equity, access, and sustainable outcomes. As a double cancer survivor diagnosed four months postpartum with her second child, Tracy also brings lived experience as a patient and caregiver advocate. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, accountability, and a deep commitment to elevating patient voice. She serves on the Bright Spot Network Parent Advisory Board and facilitates a monthly Healing Circle supporting parents of young children navigating cancer. Tracy is passionate about advancing patient empowerment through systems that honor dignity, transparency, and shared decision-making.
