Aicha Diallo, MPH, CHES, is a dedicated public health practitioner with over 14 years of experience leading community awareness efforts and promoting life-sustaining behaviors through program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
As the Vice President of Programs at the Patient Empowerment Network (PEN), she oversees the development, implementation, and strategic growth of PEN’s programming, with a strong focus on health equity, health literacy, and shared decision-making.
Previously, Aicha served as Senior Director of the Cancer Support Helpline at the Cancer Support Community, where she managed daily operations and significantly expanded Helpline services, partnerships, and navigation support, leveraging her expertise in program development and health equity.
In addition to her leadership roles, Aicha is an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she teaches courses on health equity, racism, and public health. She previously taught Program Planning, Health Promotion, and Health Communications in the Master of Public Health Program at Long Island University.
Her experience spans organizations such as the Arthritis Foundation, the New York City Department of Health, and the Public Health Association of New York City.
Aicha is actively involved in advisory boards and committees, has presented at professional conferences, has hosted podcast series, and has been published in medical and public health journals.
