Empowered Patient Chats (#patientchat) are held every other Friday at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern and during the chat patients and advocates come to learn from each other and discuss topics of interest to empowered patients.

Guiding the conversation will be the following Topic Questions (T#:)

T2: How can medical mistrust harm one’s health? #patientchat

T3: Whose responsibility is it to dismantle medical mistrust? Does it fall on just one person/group? #patientchat

T4: What is the differnce between equity and equality in healthcare? #patientchat

T5: What actions can be taken towards mending trust in various communities? #patientchat
